Our company was formed to help people save money in these tough economic times... we are not interested in making a lot of money, but we are interested helping a lot of people.

Our Business

Our firm was formed with only goal in mind, to share our knowledge and experiences of saving money on utility costs. Led by a former aerospace engineer and physicist, the world of energy savings can be brought to you.

 We have been fortunate enough to save money on energy costs with solar-electric and a wood burning stove.

Who We Are

Founder and President, Joe Ficalora, has extensive experience in leading, teaching and coaching cost saving projects for companies around the globe for the last 15 years.  He saw that every company around the world had utility cost savings opportunities.  In 2005, he decided to apply these principles to his own personal residence, driving utility costs to zero.

He decided to form a company designed to help people and share his knowledge.  that company, Green Energy NJ, is what you see here.

He recently published his first book, and in it there is a case study on listening to customers during a solar energy installation.
